Tamara Olsen is our Global Head of Innovation.
She is a senior operations and transformation executive with more than 20 years of experience building global capabilities, scaling high-performing teams, and embedding new technology into how professional services firms work. In her role, Tamara creates and scales firmwide capabilities across product development and management, partnerships, knowledge management, and analytical support solutions, strengthening the products and services AlixPartners delivers to clients and keeping the firm at the forefront of best-in-class consulting capabilities.
Tamara joins AlixPartners from Bain & Company, where she spent more than two decades, most recently as Executive Vice President of Practice & Knowledge Delivery, leading three major global service lines. There she architected the firm’s GenAI knowledge management strategy, deploying large language models to expand the proprietary insights available to consultants, and led large-scale transformations that grew, restructured, and globalized her organizations. Earlier, as a Bain partner, she advised C-suite executives on organizational turnaround, restructuring, performance improvement, and growth strategy, with a focus on healthcare and industrial companies.
Tamara holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Government from Harvard College.
