Sydney Lapeyrolerie is a retail strategist who leverages her 13+ years of industry experience to support brands through large-scale operating model transformations to improve financial performance.

As a Director at AlixPartners, Sydney has partnered with leading merchandising, planning, creative, and sourcing industry leaders to develop and execute multi-year strategies in support of both growth and cost-control objectives.

Working with a range of fashion brands and retailers with revenues greater than $2B+ annually, Sydney has designed strategic product operating models, developed complex organizational transformation strategies, implemented SG&A reduction opportunities to drive EBITDA, developed agile product-to-market processes, and integrated global-regional product teams as part of either due diligences, post-merger integrations, or enterprise-wide transformation efforts. Sydney has a record of successfully evaluating business strategies to operating model opportunities, driving improvements through to the bottom line. Prior to consulting, she was a buyer at Macy’s in the apparel and home categories.

Sydney has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Yale University. Sydney’s work on the “Future of Operating Models in Retail and Consumer Goods” was published and presented at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos in 2018.
