He has trained and led teams of talented functional specialists to drive the identification and execution of over $1 billion in savings opportunities through COGS optimization, indirect sourcing, demand management, policy and governance implementation, M&A/PMI synergy execution, and procurement transformation.

Key Engagements:

  • Led a sourcing program for a $500M North American home furnishing company that transformed both COGS and indirect sourcing processes for the organization. Performed technical cost reduction across more than 60 SKUs, created a digital production allocation tool, and optimized manufacturing footprint near-shore to achieve $30M+ EBITDA improvements for the organization.
  • Advised a $12B leading North American home goods retailer in identifying and realizing 10%+ marketing cost reductions through a review of both traditional and digital media investments, while improving the effectiveness of the marketing investments to ensure zero top line impact as a result of the cost reductions.
  • Led an Indirect optimization program at a US department store chain with 600+ stores, and conducted rapid sourcing on 8 existing contracts, demand optimization in 3 categories, and 10+ discretionary spend review workshops. Achieved $40M+ cost reductions in facilities management, corporate and employee services, marketing, and other GNFR categories, all within 3 months.
  • Supported a $11B broadcast channel retailer to conduct a margin improvement process, by conducting 40+ data driven negotiations with national brands and taking control over manufacturing, pricing, and design-to-value of their private brands in addition to assortment optimization. Achieved ~$100M annual margin improvement across Culinary and Home Décor product categories.
