Artificial intelligence offers a range of potential benefits for companies globally, and those that leverage AI effectively will be positioned to maximize value creation in the quickly expanding algorithmic economy. Although the adoption of AI has been slow to catch on, appetite for AI-related companies reached an all-time high in 2019, with $18.5 billion in investments. Our report in partnership with the MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR) program explores what companies need to better understand AI so they can take advantage of this new capability and its implications for enterprise data monetization capabilities.
