AlixPartners welcomes former SEC Senior Enforcement Accountant Dan Berman

We are pleased to announce that Dan Berman has joined AlixPartners as a Partner, expanding the firm’s Investigations, Disputes & Advisory Services practice. Dan is a highly accomplished forensic accountant who brings more than 28 years of experience as an investigator, regulator, and auditor.

Dan previously served for seven years as a Senior Enforcement Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). During his tenure at the SEC, he planned, designed, and executed a wide range of securities fraud investigations involving financial reporting, issuer disclosures, and internal controls. He also investigated auditors’ compliance with professional standards and regularly collaborated with staff from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Dan joins AlixPartners’ Investigations, Disputes & Advisory Services team which includes Trevor Donelan, Matt Jacques, Susan Markel, Brad Mroski, David Makol, Dustin Ruta, and Justin Sutherland, all of whom served in senior roles at the SEC.
