AlixPartners appoints AI expert Cesar Brea to strengthen data-driven growth and marketing analytics capabilities

NEW YORK (April 7, 2026) -- AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Cesar Brea has joined the firm as a Partner & Managing Director, strengthening its capabilities in advanced marketing analytics and growth strategy, as well as AI-driven commercial transformation.

Cesar brings more than three decades of experience helping companies use data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to accelerate growth and improve profitability. He has worked extensively across industries including financial services, software, retail, consumer products, and healthcare, advising senior executives on how to translate complex data into actionable business results. Within Financial Services, he has focused on insurance and investment management. Within retail, his work has included optimizing omnichannel marketing and improving customer acquisition and retention economics. He has also helped technology, media, and telecommunications companies modernize their marketing and go‑to‑market models.

For the last 20 years, Cesar has helped B2B and B2C companies improve media mix performance, innovate in digital channels, and build modern marketing data and analytics capabilities. The engagements Cesar has led have produced over a billion dollars of additional profits annually.

In that role, he helped chief marketing officers optimize marketing and media investments, build digital marketing capabilities, and develop data-driven organizations that improve overall business performance. 

Cesar has also held leadership roles across consulting, technology, and startups, including serving as Founder and Managing Partner of Impact Foundry, Partner at Force Five Partners marketing analytics company, and holding senior roles at Razorfish and Monitor Group. Earlier, he helped build two pioneering internet software and social media firms. Cesar is the author of Marketing and Sales Analytics: Proven Techniques and Powerful Applications from Industry Leaders. Cesar holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Harvard University. He currently serves on the Advertising Research Foundation’s Analytics Council and is an advisor to several cutting-edge marketing startup technology firms.
