Cesar Brea is a Partner & Managing Director based in Boston, specializing in AI‑enabled marketing, advanced analytics, and data‑driven growth. With more than three decades of experience, Cesar has helped companies use data, analytics, and AI to accelerate growth and improve profitability. He has worked extensively with B2B and B2C organizations across financial services (including insurance and investment management), software, retail, consumer products, healthcare, and technology, media, and telecommunications, advising senior executives on turning complex data into actionable business results.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Cesar was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he worked with CMOs to optimize marketing and media investments, strengthen digital marketing capabilities, and build data‑driven organizations. He has also held leadership roles across consulting and startups, including Founder and Managing Partner of Impact Foundry, Partner at Force Five Partners, and senior roles at Razorfish and Monitor Group. Cesar is the author of “Marketing and Sales Analytics: Proven Techniques and Powerful Applications from Industry Leaders” and serves on the Advertising Research Foundation’s Analytics Council. He received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Harvard University.
