Julio’s extensive teaching background—which includes mentoring and supervising three master’s thesis students and lecturing at universities—has given him the ability to explain complex matters in simple terms.

Key Engagements:

  • Currently giving data and AI support to Turnaround and Restructuring Services engagements.
  • Established an advanced FP&A reporting process, significantly improving financial visibility and efficiency for a manufacturing company. Automated data management, reducing prep time from hours to minutes, and ensured the continued use of these tools for critical reporting.
  • Developed a new data pipeline for an air cargo client, managing and validating a vast Direct Bill Database. Integrated over 50 million records from the operations database and created dashboards to improve client data comprehension.
  • Spearheaded successful artificial intelligence projects involving natural language processing, chatbots, and text analytics and including the development of machine learning models to identify restrictions in commercial contracts, which resulted in thousands of hours saved firmwide.
  • Led team on development of a machine learning model for a paper pulp company, resulting in optimized time in the processing of trees as well as annual savings of $5 million.
  • Built dashboards that facilitated the tracking of production, costs, employee benefits, and revenue and resulted in reduced costs for a number one sportswear company and one of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas.
