Andrew Csicsila is the Americas leader of AlixPartners Consumer Products practice.

Since joining AlixPartners in 2009, Andrew has worked extensively in consumer goods across household products, consumer electronics, food and beverage, and home care categories. In addition, he has served consumer clients in segments across footwear, nutraceuticals and sporting goods.

Andrew is known to collaborate with clients on some of the most challenging transformations. By applying his more than 30 years of experience in consulting and industry, Andrew regularly provides guidance for CEOs, executive teams, and boards of consumer products companies on a range of subjects, including global end-to-end supply chain strategies, operating model designs, capability building, and business turnarounds. 

Andrew brings a global perspective to his work, having worked and lived in both North America and Europe. He has advised clients across four continents—in both developed and emerging markets—on a variety of country-specific and global operational transformations. 

Andrew has also led dozens of private-equity engagements, including conducting due diligences and improving business performance of portfolio companies. Irrespective of the project's scale or magnitude, Andrew consistently prioritizes capability building, coaching executives and teams on change management ensuring that newly implemented solutions and approaches not only transform work practices but also contribute to improved business performance. 

Key Engagements:

  • In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, led a team of supply chain specialists for a $3B household products manufacturer to help accelerate supply, improve service levels and capture incremental revenue resulting in not only closing a $25MM revenue gap but exceeding it by $10MM.
  • Over the course of 12 months, worked hand-in-hand with the executive board and private equity owners of a $2B branded global household products manufacturer to transform the performance of the business, increase the valuation of the company, assist with refinancing, and eventually sell the business for a successful multiple.
  • Led a global team to developed and executed a transformation plan for a global iconic branded footwear manufacturer by working “shoulder-to-shoulder” with the executive team and board across the areas of Supply Chain, SG&A, and commercial activities to help restore near-term financial health of the enterprise, and continue to position the company for longer-term growth.
  • Successfully led the Operational and Commercial turnaround and successful sale of a distressed household products company in the face of considerable challenges, including heightened leverage, Covid-19 supply chain constraints pandemic, substantial inflationary pressures, constrained pricing influence, and operational inefficiencies.
  • For a $2B North American branded and private label manufacturer of household cleaning products, helped drive 900 basis points of operational and commercial improvements in the areas of supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement resulting in 900 basis points of improvement over a 14 month period helping to for a successful exit and valuation.

Andrew holds an M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (with distinction) and a M.S. in Operations Management and B.S. Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (high distinction honors)
