He has more than 20 years of management consulting and corporate strategy experience, with particular focus on both the consumer goods and industrial products industries. He has successfully led and served many client engagements and is recognized as a trusted partner by senior management and private equity sponsors in time sensitive, complex, and critical situations.

Henry holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University in China. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • For a $1.5B PE-owned snack and beverage manufacturer, led SIOP workstream and fundamentally reengineered the client’s SIOP process, successfully developed and implemented tools to sustainably support the new process.
  • For a $2B consumer goods manufacturer, streamlined the SIOP process focusing on model development and implementation of sales forecast, plant capacity, master scheduling, finite scheduling and crewing.
  • For a world leading protein processer, led a number of workstreams in a turnaround project at one of its largest plant with deteriorating margins. Improved monthly EBITDA from ($1.1M) to $0.5M within 3 months through material costs reduction and scheduling process improvement, etc.
  • For a PE-owned $1.5B Tier 1 automotive supplier, co-led a comprehensive manufacturing turnaround project at its largest plant losing $15M EBITDA monthly. Developed a de-stress plan for the plant and set up basic infrastructure (standard meetings and KPIs, scheduling and crewing tools, downtime root cause analysis etc.). Improved OEE by 25% and reduced scrap rate from 50% to 13% in 4 months.
  • For a $3.5B consumer goods company, developed inventory strategy for its newly acquired business including some extremely seasonal products, and ensured client successfully supplied the products through summer peak season. Rebalanced inventory level through building forecast model with high forecast accuracy.
