Matthew brings more than 15 years of consulting and senior supply chain management experience to deliver accelerated cost reductions for retail and consumer product clients. Matthew has led more than a dozen companies through procurement transformation programs to enhance strategic sourcing capabilities and effectiveness. His expertise in spend management includes marketing and media, commodities and ingredients, contract manufacturing, packaging, store supplies, and facilities. Matthew also has deep experience in driving supply chain efficiency from globally sourced merchandise.

Prior to AlixPartners, he led procurement for Hudson’s Bay Company and True Value and was a principal with A.T. Kearney. Matthew has an MBA in finance and general management from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
