Ross Engelhardt helps private equity investors, boards, and management teams turn product and technology into enterprise value. He takes a holistic value creation view that connects technology decisions to the full performance of the business, across growth, cost, operating model, and the levers that move a valuation.
He is an operator as much as an advisor, having served as Chief Product Officer, P&L owner, product manager, developer, and founder. He has built dozens of ventures and holds multiple patents, is a recognized voice on innovation, and is sought out for a track record of using AI to create measurable value.
He advises leading private equity firms and global enterprises from diligence through implementation, using technology as an entry point to influence the full value creation plan. Across more than 90 strategic and transformation programs, Ross has identified and delivered over $1B in combined value creation and savings by turning investment theses into operating realities executives can see on the P&L. Examples include launching new AI lines of business to boost valuations, redeveloping product strategies, and optimizing R&D cost in complex technology take-privates.
Clients engage Ross when the technology story is complex, the financial stakes are high, and the mandate demands translating a board-level value creation thesis into operating results. He is known for building senior client relationships, developing the people around him, and co-owning outcomes with the teams he advises.
Ross holds dual Bachelors in Economics and Psychology, with Business and Service Design concentrations, from New York University. He holds an MIT degree, along with Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Executive Coach certifications.
