Dr. Fabian Engels has nearly 20 years of international top management consulting experience. He worked across Europe, the Middle East, USA and Asia, and lived in Germany as well as in the Middle East (Doha, Dubai, Bahrain) during his consulting career.

He has a strong track record in international large-scale transformations, performance programs (from concept to implementation) and PMIs (incl pre-merger studies and M&A support). His client base includes multinational corporates, financial investors, (semi-)governmental entities and new economy players. He is advising clients across industries, especially in transportation.

Before joining AlixPartners, Fabian Engels was Senior Partner at Roland Berger, part of the Global Management Team, Head of the Performance Improvement Practice as well as heading the offices in Berlin and the Qatar office.

Engels holds a doctorate from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and a degree in Business Administration from the Free University of Berlin. He also studied at Harvard Business School and at the University of Gothenburg.

Alongside his role at AlixPartners, Engels is an angel investor supporting start-ups on their growth path, including former Board roles.
