SUMMARY
Tom has more than 20 years of consulting and strategy experience in the automotive, industrial, energy and technology sectors, with special emphasis on growth, M&A, portfolio management, turnarounds and cost reduction.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Tom was an Executive Director at Cummins, where he held senior-level strategy roles at the Corporate, Business Unit and Regional levels. In his most recent role, he was based in Johannesburg leading Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Operations for Africa & the Middle East.
Prior to Cummins, Tom was in Corporate Strategy at a large enterprise software company. Before that, he spent 9 years at McKinsey & Company as an analyst and consultant serving automotive, industrial, private equity and public sector clients.
