Tim Roberts

SUMMARY

Tim advises clients on risk management, compliance, technology, cybersecurity, and transformation. He has more than 30 years’ of deep experience in working with public- and private-sector clients across the areas of financial services, pensions, savings and investments, regulation, and taxation. He was previously chief operating officer of a UK-based investment management firm, where he oversaw operations, technology, finance, risk, and compliance and led a postmerger integration, an operating model transformation, and a major outsourcing of fund accounting, trade settlement, and custody. Other professional experience includes serving as a vice president at IBM Security, leading the firm’s global security, strategy, risk, and compliance competency and as a senior partner at McKinsey, where he cofounded the firm’s global risk management practice and led the UK financial services practice. Tim has a Master of Arts in mathematics and philosophy from Oxford University and a black belt in judo.
