Carbon neutral with net zero aspirations
AlixPartners works closely with One Carbon World, a partner to the UN Climate Neutral Now Initiative, and uses Plan A’s sustainability platform to help us measure, report, offset, and plan for further decarbonization efforts. With these tools, we closely measure and evaluate our GHG emissions across all areas of impact across our systems, employees, vendors, and partners.
Powered by renewables
More than 30% of energy powering our 25 offices worldwide comes from renewable sources. Our teams meet regularly with building personnel and suppliers to identify and act on approaches for increasing the percentage of renewable energy we use to operate.
Sustainable office teams
Each of our local offices has a sustainability team to drive environmental awareness at the local level. These teams plan local clean up days, host educational workshops, and implement planet friendly office initiatives like composting and recycling.
Planet-mindful suppliers
Our sustainable supplier engagement program focuses on mitigating scope 3 emissions across our operations. The program helps our teams function across environmentally friendly offices, host paper-free or low-paper events, and helps avoid unnecessary waste and energy.
Staying accountable
Each year, we measure and report on our carbon footprint and the overall progress of our path to net zero in partnership with the Global Reporting Index, the UN Global Compact, and Ecovadis.
In partnership with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), AlixPartners has committed to the Net-Zero Standard. SBTi is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science. It is focused on accelerating companies across the world to halve emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.
AlixPartners is proud to be part of this collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), recognized by the We Mean Business Coalition.
Restoring biodiversity
On behalf of our award-winning teams and new joiners, AlixPartners plants thousands of native trees each year as a founding partner of the ClimateForce Tropical Regeneration Project.
Our global sustainability partner, ClimateForce works to regenerate damaged land and ocean and build recovery plans in those regions that also create jobs, cut emissions, and protect biodiversity.
