Bard is a Director in the Investigations, Disputes & Advisory practice at AlixPartners, and is based in New York. He is an expert in financial economics, instruments, and markets and has over 14 years of experience in Economic Consulting. Bard has supported clients in commercial disputes and litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, and international arbitrations. He has advised financial institutions through internal investigations and regulatory investigations brought by the SEC, DOJ, CFTC, FCA, and FINRA.
Bard regularly applies economic, financial, and statistical analysis in his engagements. He has worked on matters involving the valuation of various financial securities including complex fixed income and derivative products; corporate valuations; trading and market manipulation investigations; and commercial damages quantum. He is also skilled in the analysis of large and complex datasets such as trade order and execution data, intra-day market transactions data, and data from various financial markets.
Bard has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in banking, quantitative finance, and financial instruments and markets. He also has a BA in economics from Haverford College.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Bard was with NERA Economic Consulting in its securities and finance practice.
