Michael provides hands-on strategic as well as operational consulting for clients in the consumer goods, retail, health, and life sciences industries based on a background in supply chain management, operations research, and strategic cost reduction. His focus areas are global business transformation, zero-based cost reduction, strategic sourcing, and organizational redesign as part of strategic direction setting, turnaround management, cost reduction, and postmerger integration. With 15 years of global business experience, Michael has functional expertise in enterprise performance improvement and supply chain management. His industry sectors include food, beverages, household products, fashion, cosmetics, luxury goods, and medical technology. Previously, he was with Accenture Strategy, where he led large-scale performance improvement and cost reduction programs for international clients as a senior engagement manager.
Michael has a PhD from the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.
