Mario Ribiera co-leads Enterprise Software at AlixPartners, working with CEOs, boards, and investors on AI transformation, growth acceleration, margin expansion, operating model transformation, and value creation. He is a technology leader, operator, and investor with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling global businesses.
Prior to AlixPartners, Mario was a Partner at SoftBank Vision Fund, where he worked with management teams and boards across a $150B+ technology portfolio. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive roles at Microsoft and Expedia Group, leading global mobile, media, e-commerce, and platform businesses. He also led expansion across Latin America, doubling Expedia Group lodging and tripling Xbox Live in the region. He started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York.
His industry experience spans enterprise software and SaaS, B2B2C platforms, travel and hospitality, mobile, and emerging technologies.
Mario has served as a director and board observer for global technology companies, including Wellhub, Loggi, and OYO. He is a member of YPO, holds an MBA from Stanford University and two degrees from MIT, and is fluent in English and Spanish. He grew up in Bolivia.
