Mario Ribera co-leads Enterprise Software at AlixPartners, working with CEOs, boards, and investors on AI transformation, growth, operating improvement, and value creation. He is an operator, board member, and technology leader with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and investing in high-growth businesses.
Prior to AlixPartners, Mario was a Partner at SoftBank Vision Fund, where he partnered with founders, management teams, and boards across a $150B+ portfolio. He also served as a director and board observer for leading global technology companies, including Wellhub, Loggi, and OYO.
Earlier in his career, he held senior executive roles at Microsoft and Expedia Group, leading global mobile, media, e-commerce, and platform businesses. At Expedia, he led the company's flagship lodging business across Latin America and the Caribbean. At Microsoft, he helped scale Xbox and other global consumer, enterprise, and platform products.
His experience spans enterprise software, SaaS, AI, B2B and B2B2C platforms, travel and hospitality, mobile, and emerging technologies.
Mario grew up in Bolivia, is a member of YPO, holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and two degrees from MIT, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
