Andy is a senior management consultant and business leader with a distinguished track record in company performance improvement and turnarounds for both healthy and challenged companies worldwide.

With over 35 years of consulting and business leadership experience, Andy brings deep expertise and credibility in cost optimization, operational improvement, organizational transformation, post-merger integration and carve-outs, as well as revenue growth. Over the last 2 years, Andy has focused on the application of AI solutions to transform businesses and drive tangible business results.

Andy also has broad industry credentials spanning automotive and industrial goods, high tech/software, consumer products and retail, life sciences, and process industries. For the last 20 years he has worked extensively with private equity firms across all stages of the investment cycle. 

Andy is a Global Vice Chair.  He oversees the Firm’s Private Equity business, leads several leading Private Equity relationships, and selected global corporate client relationships. 

He speaks English, German, and Spanish with native fluency and holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in chemistry from Harvard University.

  • Led major material cost and warranty performance improvement efforts for leading global automotive OEM, yielding step-change financial results and capability strengthening.

  • Led performance transformations for global industrial companies, from comprehensive margin improvement assessments to realizing the opportunity and executing the required operational, organizational, and cultural changes.

  • Led dozens performance improvement efforts across the portfolio of a leading private-equity firm, addressing all cost optimization elements such as headcount and supplier cost reductions, asset optimizations, supply chain and direct-material cost reductions, and organizational performance improvements. Built reputation for consistently delivering compelling, sustainable results.

  • Led transformational margin improvement efforts for software and technology-enabled services companies, focusing on resetting of cost structures after years of growth in structural costs and lack of ongoing productivity discipline; cost improvements strengthened EBITDA and funded growth.

  • Led large, complex and global merger integration efforts for chemical, media / advertising and software / technology companies. Efforts addressed full merger cycle, from pre-merge planning and Day 1 execution to post-merger integration and synergy realization.
